Registration Details

Participants paying by credit card must register using the online registration system. If you are paying by check or Purchase Order, you must download and print the registration form, and mail in your registration with payment to the address provided on the printable registration form. Registrations will not be processed without payment.

The full (2-day) forum registration fee includes

  • Access to all plenaries, breakouts, workshops and trainings in the main forum program (September 7-8, 2016)
  • Forum meals and refreshment breaks (information included below)
  • Name badge, forum attendees list, and printed program booklet

Meals and breaks provided during the forum include

  • Wednesday (9/7) — Continental breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and networking reception (DINNER IS NOT INCLUDED)
  • Thursday (9/8) — Continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch (DINNER IS NOT INCLUDED)

Participant Registration Deadlines

The Early-Bird Registration rate extends through August 12. Regular rates will apply from July 23rd through the August 29th registration deadline. Registrations will still be accepted after August 29 if space is available, a $25 late fee will apply (included in the late registration rates indicated above).

Speaker Registration Details

All speakers and moderators will be required to register and pay a significantly reduced fee to participate in the forum. The LGC will provide the necessary registration access codes directly to each confirmed speaker and moderator. Speakers and moderators MUST use the information that LGC provides to register for the conference through the online registration system.

Speakers will also be required to provide a brief biography and copy of their PowerPoint presentation (in pdf format) through the online registration system.

Speakers and moderators must register by August 5, 2016.

Sponsor Registration Details

Sponsoring organizations, agencies and companies may receive complimentary forum registration as part of their sponsorship benefits. The LGC’s main point of contact for each sponsoring organization will receive a unique access code. This main contact will be responsible for deciding who will be able to use their complimentary registration(s).

Those using complimentary sponsor registrations will need to use the online registration system. The access codes provided to each eligible sponsor are unique, limited based on level of sponsorship, and should not be shared with others. Sponsor codes do not cover costs for forum add-ons such as tours or workshops. Registrants using sponsor codes will still have the opportunity to add these activities within their registration, they will just need to provide payment information for the additional cost.

LGC Member Discount

Join the LGC now and receive an instant discount on registration for this forum! This discount applies only to the public/nonprofit and private sector “full forum rates.” More details on LGC Membership benefits. LGC Members receive $25 off the early bird and regular two-day forum registration fees.

Group Rates

A discount of $25 off the registration will be offered to organizations, agencies and companies that are sending five or more participants to the forum. This discount applies only to the public/nonprofit and private sector “full forum rates.” To take advantage of these group rates, all qualifying registrations must be received at the same time with payment.

Refund Policies

Refund requests will be honored if received in writing by August 19th. All refunds are subject to a $100 processing fee. Participants may cancel their registration themselves in the online registration system, though their cancellation will be pending until approved by the LGC. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at time of registration.

After August 19, NO REFUNDS will be offered.

Should a participant need to cancel their registration after the August 19th deadline (for any reason), they may replace themselves in the online registration system so long as this is done by September 1st.

After August 19th, should you need to cancel and replace yourself (send a substitute if you can no longer attend), you must contact Khrystyna Platte via email (kplatte@lgc.org) with the replacement contact information.
