A scholarship fund was established for the 2nd Biennial California Adaptation Forum in Long Beach to assist us in accomplishing our goal of using the Forum to advance the broader equity and climate justice movement throughout California.
Due to the generosity of several organizations we had necessary support to provide scholarships to over 50 recipients. Scholarships were open to local government staff and elected officials, nonprofit organizations, community based organizations, tribal representatives and other community leaders that are directly working to advance equity and climate justice in frontline and/or disadvantaged communities.
